Welcome to
Redwood's Furniture Bank, located in Barrie, is a true community collaboration to address furniture poverty, an under-met need experienced in our region.

Since our launch in 2019, we have collaborated alongside experienced partners who help us in our aim to transform houses into homes!

Furniture Bank Toronto shares a mutual vision, trains Redwood's team, and provides data tracking tools helping to maintain organized and transparent furniture bank operations.

Jeff's Junk supports our two-way operation by picking up donations, dropping them off at our warehouse, as well as deliver all of our orders - always with a smile! Their truck is a beautiful moving billboard and a clean way to deliver hope.​

Fresh Start Fund
After years of running the Furniture Bank and providing furniture for over 700 households, we know that whether it is a family of newcomers to Canada, a person leaving the shelter and setting up their new home, or a mom and her children starting over, our Furniture Bank clients appreciate the opportunity to furnish their homes in a dignified way, and are proud to contribute to that cost.
We also know that without funding assistance, many people cannot afford to cover the costs of curating and delivering their furniture on their own.
Redwood’s Fresh Start Fund allows us to ensure no one is turned away, even if they have only $20 to contribute, without threatening the sustainability of our furniture bank. We have set a goal of raising fund through the community to be able to serve up to 50 households with no other funding source.
